Easter, It is finished

Easter, It is finished John 19:30

{free printable, click here }

Jesus said, “It is finished.” and he bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.(John 19:30)  Jesus fulfilled ALL the work and will of the Father (salvation, our sins are forgiven, redemption, sacrifice, “paid in full”).  He was buried in a tomb.  Three days after his death on the cross, the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.  He is not here; for He is risen, as He Said.” (Matthew 28:5-6)  Jesus is alive.  He gave his everything so that we will be with him forever.

Have a wonderful Easter celebration everyone!

Happy Easter

C.S. Lewis’s 1st Radio Broadcast

CS Lewis Better Things Ahead

C.S. Lewis BBC radio broadcast

August 6th was the Anniversary of C.S. Lewis’s first BBC radio broadcast.  In 1941 at 7:45pm, he debuted in England the first (The Law of Human Nature) of the three series titled, Right and Wrong As A Clue To The Meaning Of The Universe.  For the next few years he went on the radio and did more group series, eventually all were collected and published in the book, Mere Christianity.

C.S. Lewis  well known works also include The Chronicles of Narnia and The Screwtape Letters.  Highly recommended reading.

For more information and news at The Official Website of C.S. Lewis.
