Lips……..… DIY lip balm, Style Me Pretty Living.

Garlands… paper heart garlands made from pages of an old book, dottie angel.

Envelopes.. Customize envelopes with poster paint markers, Martha Stewart.

Arrows…… Made from pretzel sticks and candy hearts, Organize & Decorate Everything.

Super Bowl XLVIII, Seattle Seahawks & Denver Broncos

Super Bowl XLVIII is this Sunday February 2, 2014! Two tough and talented teams, the Seattle Seahawks with the best defense and the Denver Broncos with the best offense will play the last game of the season to determine the Super Bowl champion. The matchup will be held at MetLife Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey, the first outdoor cold-weather stadium to host the Super Bowl. The temperature is expected to be in the 40’s and in the 30’s later in the evening. We look forward to watch and do a lot of snacking during the game. For me personally, this Super Bowl game will be hard not to cheer for both teams.

Valentine’s Day Printable Cards

January 25, 2014

Get a start on Valentine’s Day cards for special people in your life. This was a fun project for me to create and design. These cards are simple and sweet, but still express a lot of love. To make it “sweeter”, I enclosed a few chocolate kisses with each card in clear cello bags.

To give sparkle to these cards, a little bit of glue and pink glitter were added.

Another idea is to send them out in the mail dressed in red or bright pink envelopes.

Salmon Chowder

Salmon Chowder is a favorite dinner request for our family. I will make it year round, but more often during the winter months. Salmon chowder is an easy meal to put together and serve a small crowd or a simple dinner/lunch for two with crusty bread and salad {wonderful for Valentine’s Day}. A true main stable meal for our family.
