Magnolia Farmhouse
Recently, I came upon Chip and Joanna Gaines’ website, Magnolia Homes and discovered their show on HGTV, Fixer Upper. They are a beautiful, loving couple with four kids from Waco, Texas. Chip’s experiences in construction and real estate combined with Joanna’s interior design talent, established a successful company, Magnolia Homes. In their HGTV shows, they find a home, redesign, renovate and decorate it to suite their client’s needs and wants. The transformation of some of these homes featured on their shows were incredible and provide many great ideas and inspiration.
In 2012 the Gaines purchased an old farmhouse, believed to be over a hundred years old and fixed it up to make it their family home. The farmhouse combines rustic, modern with a lot of white and soft neutral colors. In one of Joanna’s posts on Instagram she said, “My three favs: wood, white, and antiques.” These touches are evident throughout the farmhouse.

I just wanted to express how much I enjoy watching Joanna & Chip. They are so loving & happy together. They make my day.
Both Chip and Joanna have talent but Joanna has artistry abilities to see a vision in her head and then be able to transform that into the project. This world is a much better place to live with people like them. Im in California and wish I could them here to re-do our home!
I love your show. Chip builds like I wish I could and Joanna decorates beautifully. I have her taste. Where did you get the big clock in your kitchen? I love that clock.

Stumbled onto your site while surfing around on a snowy day in N.E. Pa. Totally enjoyed my vista here and will bookmark so I can return. Fixer Upper is my favorite HGTV show. It really does have it all and your coverage of everything “Magnolia” was great!

.The show to me beats anything on TV. One of my favorite parts is with your kids, they are above delightful. To me they are straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Love the show.
