The skinny belt has always been a part of fashion accessories. For the past few years I’ve noticed a surge in its popularity. From Haute Couture to high fashion and to the everyday ready-to-wear collections. It’s a fun accessory to mix and match, to compliment and/or add a pop of color to an outfit.

This beautiful gown came from Elie Saab spring 2013 Haute Couture collection {see the entire collection here}. I like how the skinny belt was used to tie the floral lace top to the silk satin bottom.

I am liking the skinny waists.

Love skinny belts! I used to be really into chunky belts at my waist, but they’re just not as comfy! Skinny belts are such an easy way to add a pop of color or pattern to a simple outfit. Big thumbs up from this girl.
My two girls have been wearing these bright neon skinny belts with jeans and shorts, very cute and fun to see.
